Arizona Canal — Double Carp Day
Headed out to the Arizona Canal on Sunday and made it count — pulled in a 10 lb and a 17 lb common carp. Two big fish, same outing. Common carp in the canal don't come easy, but when they hit, they fight hard. Another great day on the water.
The Pole That Got Away (Then Came Back)
A fish hit so hard it pulled my whole fishing pole right into the canal. Grabbed a second pole, cast it out, and actually hooked the original rod — reeled it in and the fish was STILL ON. Weighed it, landed it, and the whole thing was caught on video. One of the wildest catches ever.
Lake Morning Bass Tournament
Early morning on the water — caught a personal best largemouth bass before 7am. Misty conditions made for a perfect day out on the lake.
Creek Fishing with the Family
A relaxed family afternoon at the creek. The kids pulled in catfish all day — can't beat that kind of Saturday.
